CENTREVILLE â In the annual tree decorating contest conducted by the Town of Centreville, the top three winners were announced Wednesday evening, Dec. 2, during the Centreville Christmas tree lighting. Centreville Town Councilâs Tim McCluskey presented the top three winners from the more than dozen trees that had been judged: in third place, Girl Scout Troop 1271; second place was awarded to Day Care, Inc.; and first, for the second consecutive year, Girl Scout Troop 446.
The contest is sponsored annually by both the Centreville Town Council and the Centreville Park Advisory Board. This yearâs theme to decorate the trees was âCentreville Christmas Memories and Dreams.â.
