The Abia State Police Command has confirmed the death of a Nigerian Air Force Tarmac Four cadet in a popular hotel’s swimming pool in Umuahia, the state capital. The NAF Tarmac Four cadet, simply identified as CDT Chidiebere, reportedly died on Tuesday in the swimming pool. The victim, who was said to have a few months to graduate from the National Defence Academy, had come to the facility with friends when he decided to swim at the facility’s swimming pool when the incident happened.
