Prof. Wong founded IND Technology to commercialise the patented EFD™ technology in 2013. The EFD™ product has now been implemented by more than ten power utilities in Victoria, New South Wales, California, Missouri, Oregon, and Massachusetts, as well as two railway operators in Australia and Hong Kong. THe EFD™ system detects faults that have the potential to cause power outages or initiate bushfires.
