Hyderabad: The Covid graph is swiftly falling in the city, after reporting more than 1,000 cases per day last year. Government reports say that Hyderabad’s positivity rate has touched 0.4% now.
Positivity rate is determined by identifying the total number of Covid positive cases from the total number of tests done. A positivity rate of below 5% is considered safe, says World Health Organisation standards. If it is below 5% for a period of 15 days, it suggests that the scenario is very stable.
