Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has received a project to impart training to students, faculty, scientists, researchers in high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence, the institute said in a statement.
HPC refers to the practice of aggregating computing power in a way that delivers much higher performance than one could get out of a typical desktop computer in order to solve large problems in science, engineering and business.
