From Staff Reports
BELLEFONTE Centre County Conservation District received $1,200.00 to host two virtual workshops to educate homeowners on local water quality issues as well as highlight conservation practices that homeowners can implement on their properties to manage stormwater runoff.
“This grant allows our conservation district to address local pollution issues. Our staff will educate a variety of audiences on actions they can take to ensure there is enough clean water for future generations,” said Allyson Ulsh, Chesapeake Bay Technician. Education and outreach about the workshops is expected to begin in early Spring 2021. The district expects to hold the webinars no later than early June 2021.
