Speculation started right after the confirmation that Whataburger would have an outlet in Benton that the burger chain had its eye on a possible Little Rock location. Behold, Indiana-based contractor TMG Construction Management Inc. has posted on its website that that Little Rock Whataburger is, in fact, set for 17100 Chenal Parkway, on a plot just east of the Centre at Chenal.

The new west Little Rock branch of Kemuri sushi seafood robata, colloquially known as Kemuri West, in the Centre at Chenal shopping center in Little Rock, cleared its permit process city and state Health Department Sept. 1. Soft-opening activities are in progress this week; it will open officially on Monday.
TOPDOG Hot Dogs and Beer in Little Rock has closed. Its owners announced it July 29 via the Facebook page, with the tease that the "good news is something really good is taking over the space!" What that is remains to be seen.
