Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): Nagaland University (NU), Lumami campus, organised a one-day national seminar on yoga on June 20 on the theme “Yoga and human well-being: Emerging perspectives”. The seminar was sponsored by Inter-University Centre for Yogic Sciences (IUCYS), Bengaluru. An update from the university stated that the keynote at the inaugural session was delivered by Prof. Pardeshi Lal, vice chancellor of Nagaland University. In his speech, Prof. Lal dwelt on the functioning of the human brain and how the yogic discipline and practice could help in stimulating better mental functioning, neural system, brain parts and overall intellectual capabilities.
