That is the issue this morning. These secondary roads, the roads that are not getting a lot of heavy traffic this morning, are covered in very slick snow. I was talking to ken, he came in on hendersonville road this morning and he said he was slipping around a little. I was, too, coming from buncombe county. And on the interstates you will definitely see some Clear Conditions on the roads, but the issue right now is that they are very wet. We anticipate that to freeze because the wind chill temperatures are freezing i. Is one of those days that you want to bundle up before heading out the door. Definitely, that wind is blowing hard enough to even rock our car around on the interstate. So, thats tough enough to deal with as you are driving around. Put on top of that the conditions with the slippery kids, that is going to be an issue as you head out the door, too. Were so surprised, really, to see how thick these roads were covered in this white stuff today. We are pulling off of a parking lot because the parking lots are really slick, covered in this snow, pulling onto merriman avenue here. Parts of it are looking good. The more we see people traveling by it, the better those roads are looking. But, we will pull over onto hillside up here in front of clackston elementary and look at these side roads. Totally covered. These can be really slippery. In fact, we got stuck for a second this morning. We were returning around in the parking lot, turning onto one of the side roads that look just like this when we are waiting for someone to pass by us here. Give folks p pnty of room as you head out the door, too, because the wind is blowing and we are slipping just a little bit right now, too, as we get going.
