In what came as a big shock to her loving family, Kimberley Kay (Cavan) Bradley, 64, of Garneill, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Feb. 15, 2021 at her beloved home.
Kim was born on Nov. 27, 1956 in Billings, Montana, to Robert and Aletha (Parker) Cavan, their second child and younger sister to Robert, Jr. In 1960, the family relocated to Fridley, Minnesota, where she spent her childhood, graduating from Fridley High School in 1975. While in high school, she participated in cheerleading and was on the dance line. She attended the Hennepin Technical College, earning a certificate in phlebotomy.

Disease Intervention Specialist Leann Fisk recently joined the Central Montana Health District in a grant-funded position to help with COVID-19 tracing and vaccinations.

There’s a new job at the Central Montana Health District, and a new person filling it. Leann Fisk, R.N., is the District’s newest addition, filling the position of Disease Intervention Specialist.
Fisk’s position, which is funded through COVID grant money, gives her responsibility for contact investigation and follow up, vaccination clinics, ordering vaccines and supplies and speaking with schools and hospitals about their COVID-19 situation and response.

Ashley Fox (center), owner and director of The Fox Den Childcare, LLC, takes an outing with some of the center’s preschool students. Childcare options are limited in Central Montana, and Fox is part of a coalition undertaking a survey to measure just how large the problem is.

Everyone talks about the problem; now there’s a group that wants to do something about it: the struggle working parents face to find childcare in Central Montana.
“We hear a lot about the lack of adequate childcare in this area,” said Carly Wheatley, development director with Snowy Mountain Development Corporation, the area’s economic development organization.
