A temporary court injunction invoked by police did not stop a couple thousand Calgarians from making their voices heard Saturday as freedom protesters continued their fight against remaining COVID-19 mandates.
CALGARY A protest close to downtown Calgary grew heated when demonstrators against government COVID-19 mandates came face-to-face with counter-protesters .
Police say officers arrested six people during the day for various offences, including breach of an injunction related to the ongoing demonstrations, as well as assaulting a police officer, said Calgary chief Mark Neufeld.
