Carson City firefighters responded this afternoon to a structure fire off of Highway 50 near Mound House. The fire, said to be an outbuilding, is off of Garnet Circle. Firefighters were alerted to the fire at around 12:35 p.m. after seeing a column of smoke. When firefighters arrived they saw the structure burning, according to dispatch.
