So when it doesn t work, it can be extremely frustrating. Having those higher speeds are kind of the way it is today, and the pandemic has underscored the need for that sort of connectivity,” said Bill Menner, executive director of Iowa Rural Development Council.
The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is asking residents to participate in a survey provided by the Central Iowa Broadband Survey to help determine the future of broadband internet expansion. The Central Iowa Broadband Internet Survey is a comprehensive study of broadband internet usage and availability in the region, and will help stakeholders understand service gaps and provide useful information for the development of new internet services, and will have one for residents and one for business owners.
