Clowns back in the day. Now its different no one is loving the clowns that hit the rock a bye daycare near 52nd and Center Thursday evening. Around 6thirty, thursday evening you can see in the upper left corner of the screen the day care video of a group of teens pounding on the window. One had a clown mask, trying to frighten the children inside. A staff member told them to leave, but the clown came back and did it again. Some of the children were so scared they ran into another room full of children and screamed that scary chaos erupted as children screamed and ran as staff was trying to calm them down. A seven Year Old Girl somehow slipped by and ran out a door. And seven blocks to her grandmothers house. It was real dangerous. She went through an alley. She took a busy street the little girl is safe, but her mother is concerned that her daughter was able to leave the daycare, seemingly unnoticed in the confusion. Aint too and the doors cannot be locked on the inside for fire safety

As South Dakota seniors eagerly anticipate graduation 2021, some took time to reflect and share with South Dakota Public Broadcasting how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted their last year of high school. Today we hear from a Rapid City Stevens High School Senior. My name is Abby Scott and I’m a senior at Stevens High School in Rapid City South Dakota. I started in 6th grade and actually went to Sturgis Middle School in 7th grade and didn’t’ have the best band experience just because they didn’t place as big an emphasis on the arts there. So, I was really hesitant to do it my 8th grade year, but my mom said, “just try it one more year and if you don’t like it, then that’s OK and you can not play,” so then I joined it 8th grade year, and yeah, there’s no way I could quit band. I really like it.
