Dec 12, 2020 04:46:54 PM A total of twenty seven arrests were made in the last 48 hours for curfew breaches. And majority of the cases again were for loitering and being drunk in public places. From Wednesday 11pm to 4am yesterday, eight cases were recorded including five in the Northern Division, two in the Western and a lone case in the Central Division. Four men were arrested in the North as they were found loitering along Madhavan Street in Labasa while a 45-year-old man was found drunk and loitering in Nasekula. The Western Division recorded two cases whereby a 23-year-old man was found loitering along the bus stand area in Nadi while a 32-year-old man was arrested when he was on his way to buy alcohol.
