Violence. He was my friends son and he passed four years ago. And now that were out here last night and thats his son. Its touching us hard. Candy seen him every day riding his bike, exactl what he was doing. She thinks he knew his killer. The glow of police tape and lightp is a familiar scene. Over the past year alone weve had 64 students or School Aged Kids at miamidade shot. 21 of them died. If this is not a crisis, i dont know what it would be. Because of that, miamidade super intendant is doing what he cano protect the buildings. Im having to keep the buildings open late because the kids dont want to go home and the second shooting happened in 55th street. He died. Not a student but its the latest reminder, the situation in the streets is critical. And this is the communitys way of remembering the latest victim here.
