The Des Moines Police for eleven years. Police say greene fired 15 to 30 shots into the squad cars with a 22caliber gun. Beth, there is a squad car draped in black with bouquets of flowes similar memorials sprang up in urbandale and south of the Merle Hay Mall where the two officers died in their squad cars. While Police Caught the alleged shooter shortly after 9 00 oclock this morning the investigation is far from over. Warrant here at a home owned by the suspects mother. One neighbor says this is where the suspect and his family lived as well. At the morning news conference, officers called it a terrible day with no easy explanations.
