बीते माह केरल में दहेज से जुड़े उत्पीड़न को लेकर महिलाओं द्वारा आत्महत्या करने की घटनाओं के बीच कोच्चि में प्रताड़ना का एक और भीषण मामला सामने आया है। एक 31 साला की महिला ने अपने पति एवं ससुराल वालों पर उसे मारने, कई दिनों तक खाना न देने तथा अपने पिता के साथ भी उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया है। महिला ने कहा कि पुलिस ने केस में मुकदमा दायर करने के बाद भी कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की।
