GROTON A family was displaced after their home was destroyed by a two-alarm fire early Sunday morning, according to fire officials.
Fire units were dispatched to a Great Brook Road home for a reported residential structure fire.
Arriving firefighters found a “well advanced fire through the roof,” according to officials with the Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department. A second alarm was struck, bringing additional personnel to the scene.
