We hope that continues to climb. We will continue to try to make that number climb. We 4,375,000,000 3. 7 million visitors and that is over 1 21 Million Dollars in impact. These are impressive when you look at other dmos around the country. Our moscone expansion had 500 million project. It was completed on time and on budget and opened earlier this year. We had a phasedin portion of the construction so we allowed the building to stay open to accommodate Convention Attendees to continue to come through the building. First i want to highlight the district. It is basically between second and fifth streets on the south side of market down to perry, a half block south of harrison. The colors show you the different type of uses that we have in the neighborhood. We are fortunate to be a mixed use area and as a result of this we have a board of directors of 28 people who have to represent this diversity as well and very active board. We are thrilled and i know that cassandra has left we are thrilled this is done. It has had a significant economic benefit. We appreciate them adding public art to the neighborhood
Last night alone, they had almost 1300. Reporting live in san jose, scott budman, news. Thank you. Contra costa county firefighters spent the holiday racing from fire to fire. 37 of them in six hours. Firefighters say nearly every fire was likely caused by fireworks. It just kept going today. Firefighters say fireworks likely sparked this grass fire around noon on Franklin Canyon road in martinez. In about an hour, it spread 24 acres and returned really close to highway 4. Crews did manage to get it under control with two helicopters and two air tankers. Many of the fires were centere in antioch and pittsburgh. Contra costa firefighters say it could be a very busy weekend. Our concern is there are still fireworks outs there certainly. The continues have not changed and we are at risk of another couple of nights for sure of potentially deadly wildfires. Mar per at one point 11 fires were burning at the same time. The good news here is none of them caused widespread damage or injuries. J
