‘Major component failure’ brings critical test of NASA’s giant moon rocket to a halt

The first Artemis rocket stage is guided toward NASA’s Pegasus barge Jan. 8 ahead of its forthcoming journey to NASA’s Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Miss. A critical test performed Jan. 17, of the core stage for NASA s Space Launch System, was halted, due to an engine malfunction.
