The Revive 66 Campground doesn t open until 8 p.m., but on Thursday a handful of people were waiting outside the gates by 7 p.m. Some said they had been there for a few hours to make sure they got a trailer.
There are currently 10 teardrop trailers and three units that are accessible to those with disabilities on the property, which are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis. More trailers will be delivered this week and in the coming weeks.
The campground is open Monday through Friday but that will switch to seven days a week as soon as there are enough trailers to make it financially feasible to hire more staff.
