Adani Group will continue to use its ACC and Ambuja cement brands for selling cement products and will not merge the two entities, said Ajay Kapur, CEO of both cement companies. The group, which became India s second-largest cement producer in 2022, is not planning any disruption in the usage of legacy brands. ACC is looking to add 16 million tonnes of new capacity in the next 2-5 years as India s cement demand is seen growing at 7-8%. The expansion is part of the Adani Group s plan to double its overall cement production capacity over five years.
