With 4 Games Left, What To Make Of The Celtics
The Boston Celtics can beat any team in the NBA, and based on the results they can lose to any team in the league, so what does Keith Smith think of the end of season for the C s.
Brad Stevens has said the Celtics need to play well to win, and if they do that does it mean Boston can have success in the NBA playoffs?
And what has been the reason for some of the slip ups this year, Keith Smith of Celtics Blog, Yahoo Sports and Real GM thinks it should be viewed as a combination of problems from health to roster creation.

The Portland Trail Blazers face the Boston Celtics following a win over the Brooklyn Nets 128-109. The Celtics are fresh off of a tight overtime win against the San Antonio Spurs in which Jayson Tatum scored a career-high 60 points, tying the franchise record, after the Celtics rallied to come from behind despite a 32-point deficit. Meanwhile, the Blazers looked much more like themselves against the Nets, and after a handful of wins, they seem to be hitting their stride.

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart shot 1-10 from three-point range and scored 14 points in Tuesday s 119-115 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. His on-the-court performance has come back to haunt him roughly 24 hours after the completion of that game.
The NBA announced on Wednesday afternoon that Smart has been suspended one game without pay for directing threatening language toward a game official both during and after Tuesday s contest. The league added that Smart is sitting out Wednesday s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets to serve the ban.
Per Keith P Smith of Celtics Blog, Smart received a technical foul in the fourth quarter against the Thunder and appeared to have several long and heated discussions with the officials throughout the game. Smith also noted that Celtics coach Brad Stevens told reporters ahead of Wednesday s contest that he would speak with Smart about the punishment at a later time.

When the Nets played the surging Raptors two nights ago, it didn’t look promising. The roster was as deiminated as it has been in weeks. No Kevin Durant, No James Harden, No Nic Claxton etc., etc. Then, the Nets opened up strong and there was hope. But by game’s end, the Raptors had won their fourth straight and the Nets headed home for a big set of games this weekend. Final Score: Raptors 113, Nets 103. They battled.
Friday night, they’re back and tied for first in the East after the Bucks beat the 76ers, 124-117. It was the depleted (sound familiar?) Philly team’s third straight loss. Boston arrived in New York (Newark Airport actually) a little after midnight following a big 99-86 win over the Suns. Boston has now won nine of their last 11 and moving up fast on the outside in the East.
