© casa de música de ouro branco International names in classical music were invited to the 7th Cello Festival of Ouro Branco in Minas Gerais, which took place from 7 March until 3 April. It included Prof. Matias de Oliveira Pinto from the University of Music (WWU), responsible for the artistic direction of the festival, and WWU alumnus Fábio Presgrave. Our University was also good represented by some of its master students: Rafael Frazzato from Brazil (one of the award winners), Constanza Besoain and Karl Figueroa, both from Chile, also attended the festival being in Münster. The festival, dedicated exclusively to the instrument violoncello, was organised this time in a virtual format due to the pandemic. Thus, enabling a wide participation of teachers, musicians, students and audience from all over the world.
