Die Kurtaxen, die Touristinnen und Touristen in Schweizer Gemeinden bezahlen, fallen je nach Destination sehr unterschiedlich aus. Selbst bei Gemeinden mit vergleichbaren Leistungen zahlen die Gäste unterschiedliche Preise.
In den Walliser Gemeinden Saas Fee, Saas Almagell und im waadtländischen Montreux ist die Gebühr mit 7 Franken pro Nacht über 7-mal teurer als in Zug mit Kosten von gerade mal 95 Rappen, wie eine Analyse des Vergleichsdienstes Comparis zeigt.
