up when people are simply throwing red meat and distracting you. not you. people are always mad at me. my own family is mad at me. but people stand up and say, no don t stand up you re the oneer mad at. we re mad because of you. we heard it in alyson s panel. let s be honest it s not like nobody has been talking about immigration the last three years. marco rubio pushed a bill through the senate but it was on immigration. donald trump started the immigration national debate. do you not give him credit for that? well, everybody has been talking about it anyway. the reason he cut through is because of his celebrity factor right? it s not that nobody else is talking about it. it s that he has the elevated profile. people know who he is because of the apprentice and the other things. but that actually is on us. our culture and celebrity culture has cut through a political topic more effectively than politicians. that s a problem for us.
hampshire poll i saw, you saw a lot of threes fours and fives. he s not taking it doesn t seem like he s taking from walker or bush but he s taking from everybody else. he may be the man that clears his 21% field down to like three or four. look, we you know trump will have harder days ahead. everybody who has success does. he ll get more scrutiny. some of the republicans may come after him. they see opposition research dumped on him. but there is the upside of trump. i talked to him yesterday. we were going to talk to him here later today. he pointed out that he barely spent any money. we know he is rich enough to sell fund and do advertising. he said to me yesterday, i don t need to do advertising now. i get all this coverage which dominates the news. does pretty well on cable news broadcast television. so the other candidates now have to figure out do they take on trump to get in the story? or does he have it to himself? in iowa and new hampshire, the celebrity factor as it is
russell brown. remember, he is saying, vote snp in scotland. of course the greens were her big support. he said, well green. in the seat she has got. in right. picking and shoozing, based on his own opinions. you don t feel this kind of celebrity endorsement will have a major impact on the poll come thursday. i think it will help labor, a little bit. but in general, celebrity factor. authors, artists. shepz. forget it. doesn t have an effect on politics. what is your sense on this election? we see it so close. we have these smaller parties which we are all describing as king makers. depend on what the coalition will be. what does that mean?
comedian, outspoken. dismissing politicians, he has millions. he took a risk to do that. it now seems to be. could pay off for him. yes, russell brand, very big following on social media. this is something that they, ed milliband engratiate him with younger voters. in particular. russell brand so long. how seriously should we take him. you shouldn t vote at all. comedian would be for a loss. he doubted democracy now. he says a dialogue with the british people. i mean, glad he has come round to it. this sort of celebrity factor that all the parties feel they have got to go in for. bringing in, you know, film actors, j.k.rowling, labor. andrew lloyd webber, become the conservatives. that sort of stuff isn t worth too much end of the day.
you recognize she s a former first lady. she has not driven a car in 20 or 30 years so to see her standing in line at a fast food restaurant is something. it reminded me of that feature in celebrity magazine. they go and get groceries and eat lunch. i think the celebrity factor for her is enormous. she is trying to back off and she wanted to back off. she apampbtly is the one who wanted to drive as opoed descend from a plane. she s trying and they are setting up situations for her to connect with people. we will get to the more serious stuff but i think the media lost this round pretty badly. let me get the panel in here. just watching this unfold this
