Indian Congress plans year-long celebrations of Bangladesh’s independence

New Delhi: With public projection of archival film material of the 1971 Bangladesh liberation war, Indian National Congress is set to take the memory of creation of Bangladesh to the whole country.
In a bid to use the golden jubilee of the iconic war identified with Indira Gandhi for reviving its stock among the people, the main opposition party of India will also hold seminars at the district level.
Party President Sonia Gandhi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will take part in many programmes, sources confirmed.
