KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Four Malaysian mobile operators said on Monday they had agreed to use the government's state-owned 5G network, paving the way for 5G services to be rolled out to customers after months
Five mobile network operators, excluding Maxis Bhd, have executed their respective access agreements with Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB), meeting the Oct 30 deadline, according to sources.
Digi.Com Bhd, Axiata Group Bhd and U Mobile Sdn Bhd have joined Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) in announcing that they have each executed an agreement to access Digital Nasional Bhd’s (DNB) 5G single wholesale network.
Malaysian operators Celcom Axiata, DiGi Telecommunications, Telekom Malaysia and U Mobile have now signed agreements to access – for ten years – the much-delayed wholesale 5G network rolled out and run by state agency Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).
