Supporters and protesters clashed inside of the university a campaignnts before spokesperson announced the rally would be canceled because of security concerns. In the hours before the rally, protesters lined the streets antitrump slogans. People were cheering and yelling. Fights. Re several one protester even got on a podium. The chaos started to unfold in the last 3 1 2 hours. The president ial candidate just talked about his choice to cancel that event and call the whole thing off. We made a decision, even though our freedom of speech is violated totally. We made a decision not to go forward. I dont want to see anybody get hurt. In the last hour, president obama and ted cruz spoke out about what happened there. The president said hes not shocked by that. And cruz said that trump bears responsibility for the culture being set. After the announcement that tonights announcement was canceled protesters erupted into cheers, but supporters shouted we want trump. Many groups clashed and some threw punches.
