Jesus occasionally wept, and the one particular time was when he was looking over Jerusalem from a distance, just before he was about to be arrested and crucified.
Luke 19:41 – “
But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep.”
However, interestingly enough, it was not because of the unjust punishment that was to come, but due to the fact the very people he tried to reach would not listen.
