The cost of residents’ parking permits and paying to park in car parks and shopping streets in Borehamwood and Elstree is set to increase from April 1. A notice from Hertsmere Borough Council has outlined the full schedule of charges that are due to take effect from the start of next month across the borough. These apply to on-street permit holder parking places, pay and display and on-street parking charges, off-street car parking areas and permits for business and school parking.
Permit parking The annual cost of one resident’s permit will rise from £25 to £30 from April 1, £40 to £50 for a second permit, £70 to £80 for a third permit and £100 to £110 for a fourth permit.
