BETHALTO Residents of Cedarhurst Senior Living in Bethalto on Friday received COVID-19 vaccinations.
“I felt like it was Christmas all over again,” said Angie Keeven, Chief Wellness Officer at Cedarhurst Senior Living. “We want to get everyone vaccinated so we can get back to hopefully being open and getting back to normal. So this vaccine has been a breath of fresh air.
“It’s been scary at times, there’s no doubt about that, and it’s been difficult on all of us,” Keeven said of the pandemic.
The facility presented the vaccinations in a disco-themed event that included the BeeGees’ song “Staying Alive.”
