HOPEWELL, Va. (February 16, 2021) -
Although water service had been restored to customers overnight, Virginia American Water is reporting a service outage again in its Hopewell District due to equipment failure. This includes approximately 9,500 customers in the City of Hopewell, as well as the subdivisions of New Birchett Estates, Cedar Creek, Cedar Creek West, Strattford Woods and Mullberry Woods in Prince George County.
Virginia American Water is working to resolve the issue in the Hopewell system as quickly and safely as possible, and thanks its customers for their patience and understanding.
