Former State Rep. and current Massachusetts Civil Rights Commissioner Charlotte Golar Richie endorsed David Halbert’s campaign for city council at-large today.
“David is a smart and principled problem-solver, who will drive an agenda that promotes racial and gender equity,” Richie said in a statement released by Halbert’s campaign on Wednesday. “As City Councillor at-Large, he ll make sure that government works for all of the people of our city.”
Richie came in third place during the 2013 mayoral primary before endorsing Marty Walsh for mayor.
Halbert’s campaign has wasted no time in gathering endorsements from across the city, even before they can start gathering signatures in April to officially get on the primary ballot for September.
