Club apple brand teams up with upcoming DreamWorks film
JAZZ™ apples are joining an epic adventure thanks to an exclusive new partnership with the new DreamWorks Animation film,
Spirit Untamed. The film, which arrives in theaters June 4, 2021, is the next chapter in DreamWorks Animation’s franchise that began with the 2002 Oscar-nominated film
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron and includes an Emmy-winning TV series.
Apples are core to the story of
Spirit Untamed, which will hopefully encourage children and families to eat more JAZZ apples and other healthy produce. With retail partners nationwide this spring, JAZZ apples will promote the film with custom package artwork depicting two of the film’s heroes: Lucky, a headstrong girl, and the wild stallion Spirit, whom she befriends. JAZZ™ apples and wings team up for Super Bowl
T&G’s JAZZ™ apple campaigns are helping the brand reach a top-10 category position in North America. The apple’s latest Nielsen update highlights YOY dollars at +15 percent and YOY pounds at +eight percent .
Angie Hanson, Oppy and T&G North America national brand activation manager, said this growth has been driven by campaigns such as its latest Super Bowl/Game Day partnership with chef Joel Gamoran.
“We’re partnering with retailers to deliver integrated campaigns which achieve trade and consumer value,” Hanson said. “With one-billion chicken wings reportedly consumed during the Super Bowl annually, our latest campaign is a turn-key program featuring JAZZ Apple Korean Game Day Wings a recipe created by chef Joel Gamoran providing consumers with a reason to put a fresh spin on this Super Bowl snack.”
