up. new this morning, police are investigating a deadly shooting in northeast washington. officers arrived a little after 1:30 this morning to the 600 block of edgewood street. police don t have any information on who may be responsible for the shooting or motive. and then the elks large on solomon island road is where three people were stabbed after 1:00 this morning. all three are expected to survive. police have not said what may have led to that stabbing. new details in a string of attacks in d.c. a man who police say could be responsible for those attacks is behind bars this morning. a judge ordered michael davis to be held in jail without bond charged with two assaults in the petworth community. one victim came forward friday saying he was struck from behind. police say he identified davis in a photo lineup. he faces charges in an assault of a woman on thursday night. officers heard her cries for help and say they arrested davis after spotting him in a nearby alle
