Netflix has announced its latest documentary series, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, which will focus on the mysterious disappearance and death of student Elisa Lam.
Elisa was last seen in 2013 on CCTV camera at the infamous Cecil Hotel, she then disappeared and was discovered a month later in a water tank on the roof of the hotel.
The upcoming series will have four episodes and be released on 10th February. The series was directed by Joe Berlinger, who was heavily involved in Netflix’s Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.

Lam, 21 at the time of her death, was found dead in a water tank on top of the Cecil Hotel, which is now known as the Stay at Home hotel.
