Manila Police District Special Mayor’s Team (MPD-SMaRT) said the cohorts of Pauline Mae Salamero, the arrested driver, were nabbed in an entrapment operation on Friday on Cecelia Muñoz St. in Ermita.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Rendor Sanchez Esqueta, 30; Leopoldo Salamero Melliza, 20; Jason Dela Soriano, 29; and Marlon De Guzaman Acueza, 19. All of them, like Salamero, are from Calamba, Laguna.
Recovered from the four suspected drug dealers were five grams of shabu worth P34,000.
The Manila City Public Information Office (PIO) said authorities found drugs in Salamero’s bag.
Authorities pretended to be Salamero and texted her cohorts to pick up the bag from the MPD-SMaRT office which led to the latter’s arrest.
