Lt. Col. Wilbert Parilla, Cebu City Police Office deputy director for operations, said in a presser that authorities recorded no untoward incidents in the vicinity of the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus and the University of San Jose Recoletos-Basak Campus where the first Bar Exam in Cebu is being held. "We don't allow supporters or even members of the families and relatives and even representatives of their law schools to stay near the entrance gates of the two universities," Parilla said. The police deployed 200 police personnel to secure the areas of Banilad and Basak starting at 3 a.m. The two schools were allowed to open their gates half an hour later and let the Bar examinees come in early, Parilla said.
