A 911 call was received regarding an individual threatening people with a machete outside the facility. Officers from the cu boulder and city of Boulder Police departments responded quickly and within minutes and brought the situation under control. Specific details of the incident will become available as the investigation takes its like this fuel confusion and misinformation. Police had a number of calls related to incidents that subsequently turned out to be false. We determined there was no active threat to campus. There is no continuing Public Safety threat.
