The coveted Comme des Garçon (CdG) Homme Plus x Nike Air Carnivore made its first appearance during the spring-summer 2021 show held at its Tokyo headquarters. Rei Kawakubo, the fashion house’s designer, paired the futuristic-looking sneakers with equally modernistic metallic, printed, and genderless pieces from the collection. Now, months after the runway show, the footwear is made available to the market, specifically via Dover Street Market Ginza.
The CdG Homme Plus x Nike Air Carnivore comes in all-white and all-black colorways, taking a reformation of the ‘90s Nike Air Carnivore. The high-top footwear features mesh, neoprene, and leather constructions; and both iterations feature contrasting CdG Homme Plus branding on the heel and a Nike logo on the sneaker’s midfoot strap.
