and it remains to be seen, it s hard to speculate what the order will say, but if the detention of families continues then we re still going to be creating a different problem. one of the things that s come up during a number of conversations i ve had with people here, asylum seekers and the fact that there is this backlog for folks who are trying to enter the country legally. what can you tell us about that? has that been overstated or is there is there, in fact, a significant backlog that s leading to more people trying to get into this country illegally? it has not been overstated. people are being turned away at the bridges. and the city of roma, people have been waiting there for weeks to be processed because they re told by cbp agents that the united states is full, there s no capacity to process them. that violates a number of international treaties and then some of those people are forced to cross illegally and end up
