A special court in Guwahati, Assam has granted the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) a five-day custody of four accused in alleged killing of two Meitei students.
Jawri Mal Bishnoi, a Joint Directorate in the Rajkot office Directorate General of Foreign Trade, allegedly died by suicide in the CBI custody on Saturday, a day after he was arrested by the probe agency on graft charge.
While sending Sisodia to CBI remand, the trial court observed that the accused had joined the investigation of this case on two earlier occasions, but it has also been observed that he has failed to provide satisfactory answers to most of the questions put to him during his examination.
