WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - It’s been almost one year since the devastating disappearance of 6-year-old Faye Swetlik.
The bright and bubbly little girl from Cayce captured the hearts of people across the nation.
She went missing from her front porch in the Churchill Heights community on February 10, 2020, launching a multi-agency search. Hundreds of officers searched homes, creeks, woods, and trash cans within a short radius from her home for three straight days.

The suspect remains on the loose Wednesday morning.
The agency announced around 12:30am that the Amber Alert had been canceled, and two year old Carlee Folk and the dog in the car, had been found safely.
The Amber Alert was issued late Tuesday evening for Carlee Folk, 2, who was in a car, along with a dog, that was taken from the Quality Inn in Cayce Tuesday night around 8:50, say Cayce Police.
SUSPECT INFO: Gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, dark color shoes. Short dreadlocks.
Cayce Police say the suspect remains on the loose. There was limited information on where the two year old was found, but police said she was safe.

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - South Carolina authorities announced that a 2-year-old girl who was abducted in Lexington County has been found safe.
Officials with the Cayce Department of Public Safety announced at 12:25 a.m. on Wednesday that Carlee Folk was found safe. According to authorities, Folk was in the back seat of a car that a man got into and drove off on Tuesday night.
“We are thankful to announce that she has been found safely,” officials with the police department said.

Shyheem Phillips, who was arrested around 4 p.m. Wednesday, has been charged with vehicle theft and kidnapping, according to officials.
