president of the united states. when that chant that you heard by a group that s called auc shut it down. they re a group pretty well known to people on the three campuses that comprise the aus, the atlanta university center. not long after that hillary clinton because the crowd began to shout down the protesters, chanting, let her speak and hillary, hillary, hillary. the protests quieted down. hillary got back into her he marks and got part way through and a second protest by the same group broke out. take a listen. i m sorry, you know, i appreciate their passion, but i m sorry, they didn t listen. because some of what they ve been demanding i am offering and intend to fight for as president. reporter: and craig, we did talk to some members of the audience, people who had come to listen to hillary speak.
lives matters and a lot of dispute over how he handled that. how did hillary clinton handle this today? reporter: one of the big differences was that in this case here at clark atlanta university the crowd was very much with hillary clinton and sort of they were the ones that kind of handled the protests. there were two separate protests by this group called auc shut it down. so the first disruption started the crowd started chanting let her speak. then a second disruption by the same group about ten minutes into the speech. the crowd again drowned them out. she, i think, responded by accepting the idea of the protest. i was told the clinton campaign did not want them ejected. they were walked out. john lewis as well as andrew
not that that trump is right when he tells people that only the media is interested in details. 65% of the likely republican cauc caucus-goers we polled said they trust trump will figure it out as opposed to spelling out his policy positions. and that is very unlike what we ve seen in the past. in a lot of ways, trump is breaking the traditions, breaking the rules of the iowa caucuses in that he is not spelling out what he stands for. and there are a lot of concerns about that. you saw a new york times story today about what does trump really feel about raising taxes, and over what groups. also, he is also breaking the rules in the fact that he is in retail politics. he has been to iowa he made about 20 appearances. compare that to rick santorum, who is at 130-some. trump made his appearances count. you know, he gave kids
showing that he gets innovation happens in business and that the government doesn t always get it. but jake, voters may not be listening. the latest polls show 56% of cauc caucus-goers would rather have somebody outside of government even positive experience. that may be another reason why scott walker dropped 15 points in a moont. trump, carson, fiorina. all three, none held elective office. thank you very much. let s talk about the democratic field. a lot of unrest with joe jones. clinton still leaning in iowa. but this poll out from the des moines register poll show she s lost a third of her support among democrats since may. yeah. extraordinary. it invites a comparison to what happened to hillary clinton s campaign in 2008. though some would say it s too early to make that jump. what we do know is how a strong bernie sanders is running in iowa and his supporters appear
all they have said so far is that there are from the north cauc caucus. that s all that we know. no indication of any evidence against them or motive that they might have had for doing this? well, you know what? right when this happened the committee said that they were pursuing a theory that it was a ukrainian security services that were using hired killers to go away with boris and so far the fact that there are two men with names that have been arrested, it sounds like it s lining up with the theory. it seems convenient for russia, but we will see how it goes. yeah, that s what i was going ask. this theory is an attempt to stabilize the government, but my question for you is how much skepticism are we seeing there
