Earlier he visited a Relief Centre in houston for the victims of the flooding. Mr trump had previously faced criticism for not meeting survivors when he travelled to the state four days ago. Last night, the white house asked congress to approve six Million Pounds in emergency funding. The president is now travelling to neighbouring louisiana, which was also badly hit. Speaking from the Relief Centre in houston, the president said those affected by the tragedy had praised the response by authorities. Really, i think people appreciate whats been done.
