The “Peltier Complex” will be NDSU’s largest academic facility and honors one of the region’s most long-standing supporters of teaching, research, and extension in agriculture, the NDSU Foundation said in a news release.
The Peltier Complex will house NDSU’s food, meat and cereal science laboratories along with the Northern Crops Institute. The North Dakota Legislature approved $70 million for the completion of the facility and authorized an additional $15 million in fundraising. The building is being named for the Peltier family of Arthur Companies and Proseed.
