The temple has canceled upcoming in-person meetings, services and events out of an abundance of caution. Instead, online services and events will be accessible by phone and via Zoom. Upcoming Shabbat services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Fridays; and at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays. Rabbi’s Wednesday discussion groups will be held from 2-3 p.m. for Torah discussion; and 7-8 p.m. for general discussion and check-in. The coronavirus pandemic has made it impossible for families to pack church pews on Christmas Eve this year. But Cardinal Seán P. OâMalley, leader of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, urged the faithful to find safe ways to participate â and to participate fully, even if theyâre watching services at home.

CAMBRIDGE Ordinarily, hundreds of people attend the St. Paul s Choir School s live Christmas performances in the spacious St. Paul Church in Harvard Square. However, since social-distancing restrictions would prevent such an event this year, the school decided to bring its concert to an even wider audience by recording it and making it available to their supporters online.
