The next Catholic History Lecture of the American Catholic Historical Society is Tuesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. William Portier of the University of Dayton will present the life of Father Thomas Judge (1868-1933).
While those in the Philadelphia Archdiocese know of him from the Northeast Philadelphia high school that bears his name, many are unaware of his pioneering work developing the lay apostolate.
